ETERNIA - 2026

Since its inception in 2007 ETERNIA has become an event looked forward to by students of Hiray and other colleges alike. We the MCA students have great pleasure in presenting ETERNIA 2026 a unique intercollegiate technical festival to tap the hidden talents of the “Students Community”. ETERNIA, serves as a platform for students to participate with great enthusiasm interest in various technical events, Indoor and Outdoor games to develop and showcase their technical prowess. Hence our logo for ETERNIA is IT-infinite.

Eternia Poster 2026

Eternia 2025–26 is the annual technical fest organized by the Late Bhausaheb Hiray S.S. Trust’s Institute of Computer Application, Bandra (East). The event brings together students passionate about technology, innovation, and creativity. Over two exciting days, participants will compete in coding challenges, gaming battles, technical quizzes, and project exhibitions.

The goal of Eternia is to encourage students to transform ideas into real-world solutions while fostering collaboration, learning, and healthy competition.

Day 1 Events

Software Project Exhibition

Overview

The Software Project Exhibition is a platform where students can showcase innovative applications, systems, or software solutions. Participants will present their projects to a panel of judges consisting of industry experts and faculty members.

Projects can be based on real-world problems, emerging technologies, or creative digital solutions.

Participation

  • Type: Team / Solo Event
  • Team Size: Maximum 4 members
  • Entry Fee: ₹100 per participant

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation and originality
  • Technical complexity
  • Practical application
  • User interface and usability
  • Presentation and explanation

Rules

  1. Each team can present only one project.
  2. The software must be fully functional or a working prototype.
  3. Teams must bring their own laptops and required hardware.
  4. Internet access may be limited; offline functionality is recommended.
  5. The project must be developed by the participants themselves.
  6. Plagiarized or copied projects will result in disqualification.
  7. Each team will receive 10–15 minutes for demonstration and explanation.
  8. Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.

LAN Events

The LAN events are fast-paced competitions designed to test participants’ coding skills, logical thinking, and gaming strategy. These events provide an exciting environment where competitors solve challenges, debug code, and compete in gaming tournaments against other tech enthusiasts.

Debugging Competition

Overview

Participants will be given code snippets containing logical or syntax errors. The objective is to identify and correct the errors within a given time.

Supported Languages:

  • Python
  • Java
  • C
  • C++
  • JavaScript

Rules

  • Participants must debug the code using the provided system or environment.
  • The winner will be determined based on accuracy and completion time.
  • External resources or internet usage may be restricted.
  • Any form of collaboration is not allowed.
  • Multiple programming languages may be used depending on the round.

Blind Coding

Overview

Blind Coding is a challenging programming event where participants must write code without looking at the screen. Contestants will rely purely on their knowledge of programming syntax, logic, and memory to solve the given problem statements.

Supported Languages:

  • Python
  • Java
  • C
  • C++
  • JavaScript

Rules

  • Participants will be given a problem statement that must be solved through coding.
  • During the coding process, participants will not be able to see the screen.
  • No corrections can be made by viewing the output while writing the code.
  • After completion, the code will be revealed and executed.
  • Scoring will be based on correctness, logic, and completion time.

BGMI Tournament

Overview

Participants compete in intense matches of Battlegrounds Mobile India, testing teamwork, survival skills, and strategy.

Rules

  • Participants must bring their own mobile device.
  • Matches will be conducted in custom rooms.
  • Any use of hacks, emulators, or unfair advantages will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Game format (solo) will be announced during the event.
  • Points will be calculated based on placement and kills.

FIFA Tournament

Overview

Participants will compete in the popular football simulation game EA Sports FIFA.

Rules

  • Matches will be played 1 vs 1.
  • Tournament format will be knockout or group stage + knockout.
  • Match duration and settings will be predefined by organizers.
  • Any unsportsmanlike conduct will result in disqualification.
  • Decisions made by the event coordinator will be final.
  • Games will be played on Console

Poster Presentation

Overview

Poster Presentation encourages participants to present research ideas, technological innovations, and conceptual models through visual posters.

Participants must explain their topic to judges and visitors.

Participants may choose from the following topics:

Rules

  • Posters must be pre-prepared; creating them during the event is not allowed.
  • Poster size should preferably be A1 or A2.
  • Participants will be given 5–10 minutes for explanation.
  • Judges may ask questions related to the topic.
  • Evaluation will be based on clarity, creativity, and subject knowledge.
  • Participants must ensure originality of content.

Tech Quiz

Overview

The Tech Quiz is designed to test participants’ knowledge of computing, programming, technology trends, and tech history.

Participation

  • Type: Solo
  • Entry Fee: ₹50 per participant

Quiz Format

The quiz will be conducted in a buzzer-based format, where participants must press the buzzer to answer questions. The team that buzzes first will get the opportunity to answer. Points will be awarded for correct answers, and the quizmaster’s decision will be final.

The quiz may include different types of questions, such as:

  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Rapid Fire Round
  • Visual Identification
  • Technology Trivia
  • Programming Concepts and Logic-Based Questions

Rules

  • Participants must follow the quiz format announced by the quiz master.
  • Mobile phones and external help are not allowed.
  • Points will be awarded based on correct answers and response speed.
  • Tie-breaker rounds may be conducted if necessary.
  • The decision of the quiz master will be final.

The format is designed to test participants’ speed, knowledge, and problem-solving skills across various areas of technology.

General Rules for All Events

  • Participants must carry a valid college ID card.
  • Reporting time is 30 minutes before the event.
  • Registrations are confirmed only after payment of entry fees.
  • Participants must bring their own laptops and necessary accessories for technical events.
  • Any participant found violating the rules may be disqualified.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to modify rules if necessary.
